Pre-Grading

Digital Microscope Inspection
Our process begins with a thorough inspection of all Pre Graded cards under a digital microscope. This allows us to closely examine corner sharpness, edges, and identify any flaws wax stains, or printing imperfections. We ensure that every detail is meticulously checked to maintain the highest quality standards. Your cards deserve nothing less than our careful attention and expertise.
Centering Tool
Next, we use the centering tool to get a measurement of the card. The tool is laid over top of the card inside a toploader to protect the card from scratches or damage of any kind. Both, the front and reverse side will be graded for centering.
Cleaning and Scratch Repairing
After Centering, the next step is cleaning the card(s) with a special formula made strictly for trading cards with a microfiber towel that is super soft to prevent scratches. Followed by, a scratch repair if necessary if any scratches are found on the card(s).
Final Grading
Finally, the card will be reinserted into the correct size toploader. The card will then be graded on a final average grade overall. This grade will be based on overall condition of the card. (corners, edges, flaws, wax stains, printing imperfections, remaining deep scratches or damage after cleaning and/or repairs. This final Grade will be placed on the toploader, packaged securely and sent back to customer or sent off to PSA if PSA submission is purchased after pre grading, then sent back to customer once received back from PSA after Grading. (If PSA submission is purchased, Customer will be notified by information submitted at purchase with pre grade card grade before the card is sent off to PSA)
